Electrolysis Course
Electrolysis or Electrical Epilation is the method of permanently removing hair from the beneath the skin’s surface with the use of an electrical current. This course delivers the theoretical and practical knowledge required to be able to carry out this highly effective and results driven treatment. Adding this hugely lucrative and fascinating skill will make you stand out against your competition, broadening your clientele and driving revenue.
This short, intensive course is tailored to fit around your existing commitments and with our unique Blended Home Study option you’ll have flexibility to study the course theory from home, via live, online tutorials. Once these are completed you’ll then attend the academy to learn your practical skills.

A requirement for those students wanting to develop their career in the beauty & aesthetics industry and provide the highest level of skills required by spas and salons when working with advanced skin care treatments. Course Requirements
No formal pre-requisite before attending this course however we prefer a NVQ/VRQ Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy or equivalent.

Option A: Blended Home Study Course; Theory delivered online 1 morning per week for 6 weeks (10am-12pm) + 5 practical training days in Omni (10am-4pm)

Who can perform Electrolysis in the UK?
You need to hold a recognised qualification in Level 3 Electrolysis in order to perform this skill. This will enable you to take out the relevant insurance required to practice on clients. Additionally, your borough will likely require you to hold a licence for yourself and your premises, to practice this skill in your area.
How long does it take to become qualified in Electrolysis?
At Omni Academy, our course is delivered via a combination of live, online, theory tutorials and face to face, practical days. The course is delivered across 6 weeks, including assessments. Alongside your training you will have home study assignments and case studies to completed. If you are able to complete the coursework within the course timeframe, you will be ready to qualify on the final day of your course.

I had suffered from several health issues, which resulted in me having hormonal problems and caused excess facial hair so I decided to have electrolysis sessions.
Reflecting on the treatments I was receiving, it got me thinking there was a great need in my City to help and support others with the same predicament, at which point I had a lightbulb moment and this initiated great excitement.
I reached out to a few training providers and Omni Academy kindly responded to me the next day! I immediately rang a lovely woman called Rianna Farbey, who was very professional and friendly and explained everything they could offer me. I was bursting with excitement. The course included one-to-one tutoring with Carolyne Cross, another fantastic teacher. A few days later, I had enrolled, paid and started the course.
The course is very thorough and challenging and homework is necessary. Most of the course is delivered live and online, meaning I could learn from home. I only had to go to the Omni Academy to carry out the practical assessments and theoretical exams. This was done over a 3 day period, which was intense, but I really enjoyed working with the real life clients.
The staff and team at the Omni Academy are amazing, very professional and very competent in delivering the course materials. I would recommend this Academy to anyone wanting to advance a skill you already have or start a new one like myself. The website is amazing, and you can follow them on Insta/Facebook. Learning on-line was a fantastic experience.
